Dorette Noorhasan, MD
Dr. Dorette Noorhasan is board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and serves as CCRM Dallas-Fort Worth’s medical director and co-founder. After receiving her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from University of the Virgin Islands, Dr. Noorhasan attended medical school at Boston University School of Medicine, during which she participated in medical missions to Guatemala and Mexico. She completed her residency in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at the University of Texas, Houston, and her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Noorhasan consistently receives honors and awards acknowledging her achievements. She has been recognized as a Top Doctor in Texas Monthly, a Mom-Approved Doctor by Dallas Child Magazine, and a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly. She has been published in numerous journals, including Fertility and Sterility, Human Reproduction, Women’s Health Issues, Journal of Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology International. Additionally, she contributed to the book, “Women’s Reproductive Mental Health Across the Lifespan.” Dr. Noorhasan is passionate about in vitro fertilization, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, and fertility preservation. Having personally completed five cycles of IVF to ultimately create an embryo that was transferred via surrogate, she once thought parenthood was unattainable, and today offers unique empathy and compassionate care for her patients. She is also conversant in Spanish helping accommodate the non-English speaking community.
